Boquet Valley Veterinary Services was established in January of 2020 by farm vet, Dr. Martha Jackson. BVVS is a large animal ambulatory practice based out of Lewis, NY and services all of Essex and parts of Franklin, Warren, Hamilton, and Washington counties.
At Boquet Vet our large animal veterinarian prides themselves on excellent preventative medicine based around wellness examinations, vaccines, dental care (Dr. Jackson’s favorite), hoof care, nutritional consults, and tailored deworming programs. Our main focus is to give you the most up to date resources and knowledge and your animals the best care to keep them healthy and thriving.
We all know that our animals still inevitably will get sick or injured. As such, we are also equipped to care for you and your animals when this happens and offer 24/7 emergency services to established clients.

Our mobile large animal vet care services are available during the following hours:
Mon-Friday: 9am – 4:30pm
Sat/Sun: Emergencies Only
Do you see emergencies?
Emergency services are available for established (seen for some sort of routine wellness work within the past 12 months) clients and, when pre-arranged, coverage for other veterinarians’ clients.
Whether emergencies that do not fall into those categories are seen or not is at the discretion of the large animal veterinarian on call.
